With the release of my new compilation ‘A Memory Gone By’ Volume 6, just a few weeks away, I have decided to let you guys in on the intro track to the mix. So here it is, this weeks Official Tune Of The Weekend,Sunlounger Ft Seis Cuerdas – A Balearic Dinner(DJ Tunez A Memory Gone By Intro Mix). Enjoy!

It’s been a long time coming for German born DJ,Roger Shah.  You may also know him under his other alias’ that include Sunlounger,DJ Shah,Savannah and,Magic Island just to name a few. One of his first notable records comes in 2003 (He started producing in 1999), the track is called “High“, which is praised till this day as some peoples favorite track (Please not that the track in the link is not the original).

In 2007, Roger Shah released his album “Another Day On The Terrace“, which gave him great exposure with great tracks like the “Another Day On The Terrace“,”Crawling“,”In And Out“, and “White Sand“. Now if you haven’t heard these tracks, make sure you do so now. The album includes club mixes as well as acoustic mixes of the tracks, which just makes it so much better.

Roger’s bigger break really came later in 2007, when Armin Van Buuren named “Who Will Find Me“, as his favorite track of the year. The track was included on his amazing album “Songbook“, which is one of my favorite albums ever. This ablum too offers both club and acoustic mixes. Other tracks off the album include “Ocean Drive“,”Going Wrong (With Armin Van Buuren)” and, “Sunday Morning 2.8“

Roger Shah is one of the best producers as far as capturing an emotion in his music, is music really able to take you to another place. Don’t take my word for it though, pop one of his albums into your car,cd player or mp3 player and I am sure you will never press the forward button. His newest single is with English DJ, Judge Jules, called “Hold On”.

So make sure you catch Roger Shah April 2nd @ Roseland Ballroom, his set will be from 3am till 4am.

Hello world, welcome back, here’s this week’s winner, Sunlounger Ft Kyler England – Change Your Mind (Myon & Shane 54 Remix). The track received 29% of your votes, the tune was #2 up until Sunday but got a push over the top and takes the cake as Tune Of The Week. With 23% of the votes comes the amazing remix by Grube & Hovespian of Mike Efex’s “Pier 39″ which features Catherine on the vocals. With 20% of the votes comes Dave Kurtis’ “Last Night In Miami”, which lends it’s melody from Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine’s 1985 song “Conga”.

With 14% of the votes comes Ceximo’s “Montego Bay”, which is one of the more beautiful trance track of 2009, really gives you a feeling of actually laying at a beach in Montego Bay. Also with 14% of the votes is Kismet’s “Vita“. This could be one of my favorite Top5Tunez of the year, amazing tracks, Hopefully we can do it again this week but we’ll let you be the judge of that. This weeks winner is the Andrelli & Blue remix of Sunloungers “Lost”. The track received 38% of the votes and is one of the top tracks on our playlist here @ DJtunez.net. Coming in second with 26% of the votes is ATB’s track from his new album “Future Memories”, called “What About Us”.

Number three comes from one of the top producers in electronic music that past 2 years, Marcus Schossow, and his new track “From The Heart”, the track received 18% of the votes. Coming in with 9% each was Maurizio Gubellini & Dyor-Loving You(Maurizio Gubellini & Matteo Sala Mix) and Keenan & Anderson Ft. ENDC – Drift Away 2009(Mike Nichol Vocal Remix)
