Armin Van Buuren A State Of Trance 450 Celebration @ Roseland Ballroom
Thursday, April 1st, 2010Friday, April 2: Armin van Buuren, Roger Shah, Menno De Jong, Rank 1, M.I.K.E., Cerf & Mitiska, Eco
Made Event is proud to present a two day ‘A State of Trance 450’ celebration with the world’s #1 DJ Armin van Buuren and some very special guests at Roseland Ballroom on Friday and Saturday, April 2 & 3, 2010.
Armin van Buuren has provided New York audiences with some of its most cherished events of the ‘00s. As the Dutchman’s popularity grew to seemingly unreachable heights, the scale of his performances followed. During the early part of the decade, New York saw Armin perform at some of its most elite clubs like Spirit, Crobar, and Pacha NYC. However, as the Armin van Buuren brand grew, there would be few city venues’ that could contain him. Soon Armin took his DJ set out of the clubs and into large-scale venues like Brooklyn’s Tobacco Warehouse, McCarren Pool, the massive indoor space of Roseland Ballroom, Governor’s Island and, of course, the headlining set of the first night of the inaugural Electric Zoo festival in 2009. Now Armin returns to Roseland Ballroom armed with a collection of his finest tunes, a stellar two-day lineup of DJ’s, and top notch production, stellar visuals & extraordinary sound provided by Made Event.
Armin van Buuren’s radio show ‘A State of Trance’ has been going strong for the better part of a decade. With an estimated 10 million listeners on local, internet and satellite radio stations around the world, ‘A State of Trance’ is one of dance music’s most popular radio programs, garnering multiple accolades throughout its historic run. The show’s weekly blend of new tunes, future favorites and classic tracks remains the perfect place for trance fans to keep close track of the music they love.
In 2009 ‘A State of Trance’ celebrated its 400th broadcast with an unforgettable series of events. A 72-hour non-stop radio broadcast from clubs in Germany, U.K. and The Netherlands featuring over 60 DJs. With ‘A State of Trance 450’ Armin van Buuren is set to go bigger and bolder than ever before as he and some special guests

ASOT 450 Artist Bio: Roger Shah
Thursday, March 18th, 2010It’s been a long time coming for German born DJ,Roger Shah. You may also know him under his other alias’ that include Sunlounger,DJ Shah,Savannah and,Magic Island just to name a few. One of his first notable records comes in 2003 (He started producing in 1999), the track is called “High“, which is praised till this day as some peoples favorite track (Please not that the track in the link is not the original).
In 2007, Roger Shah released his album “Another Day On The Terrace“, which gave him great exposure with great tracks like the “Another Day On The Terrace“,”Crawling“,”In And Out“, and “White Sand“. Now if you haven’t heard these tracks, make sure you do so now. The album includes club mixes as well as acoustic mixes of the tracks, which just makes it so much better.
Roger’s bigger break really came later in 2007, when Armin Van Buuren named “Who Will Find Me“, as his favorite track of the year. The track was included on his amazing album “Songbook“, which is one of my favorite albums ever. This ablum too offers both club and acoustic mixes. Other tracks off the album include “Ocean Drive“,”Going Wrong (With Armin Van Buuren)” and, “Sunday Morning 2.8“
Roger Shah is one of the best producers as far as capturing an emotion in his music, is music really able to take you to another place. Don’t take my word for it though, pop one of his albums into your car,cd player or mp3 player and I am sure you will never press the forward button. His newest single is with English DJ, Judge Jules, called “Hold On”.
So make sure you catch Roger Shah April 2nd @ Roseland Ballroom, his set will be from 3am till 4am.
