Electric Zoo Artist Spotlight:Josh Gabriel
Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009
We’re now just 3 days aways from the Zoo! This gives us some time to introduce you to another artist who will be performing this weekend, Josh Gabriel. Josh is probably known for his tag team with Dave Dresden (Of Gabriel & Dresden). They had an amazing ride together bringing out amazing productions and remixes, Including the classic “As The Rush Comes”, under the alias Motorcycle. Their last production was a remix of Faithless’ “A Kind Of Peace”, The duo has since split and both have focused on their own productions. Josh has brought us a lot of great new music, including his track “Summit” which he released before the split, which had a crazy buzz around the dance music scence. But the favorite from Josh has to be this…
Tune Of The Week
Sunday, June 28th, 2009Thirty three weeks have passed by since our first Tune Of The Week back in the winter of 2008, now heres our first summer Tune Of The Week, Josh Gabriel Pres. Winter Kills – Deep Down, the track took in 36% of your votes. Josh Gabriel always seems to produce great music, this track falls under the “great music” category. Coming in number 2, with 28% of the votes is “Loved U 2 Much” by “Feel”, which features the beautiful voice of Tiff Lacey.
Taking the number 3 position is Ronski Speed Ft. Mque, and their track “Are You?”. The track took in 19% of the votes. This is slowly becoming my favorite Ronski Speed production. First State’s remix of “We Came”, which the original was released 10 years ago by Vimana, took in 9% of the votes. As you may or may not know, Vimana was a collaboration by the legendary DJ Tiesto and Ferry Corsten, even before their Gouryella project. And with 8% of the votes comes Jonas Stenberg’s track “Memories”
.
As always thank you for your votes and keep them coming, and help us grow! Hope you enjoy this weeks tracks!

Best Driving Track Ever?
Friday, May 22nd, 2009So the DJtunez.net crew is about to take off on a 5-6 hour drive into the land of unknown this weekend. What better way to spend a long ride then listening to music? There is none. So this got me thinking, whats the best tune to listen to? I honestly did not have to think long or hard to come up with the winner… Motorcycle – As The Rush Comes. For some reason when the sun comes down and a highway is in front of me, my foot gets a little heavier then usual. I think the calmness of Jes’ voice and the amazing music surrounding her voice gets that adrenaline rushing. Enjoy!
