Lovesong Evolution

Back in 1989 The Cure released a song called ‘Lovesong’, which is one of many of their classic songs (check out ‘A Forest‘ which was also remade by Blank & Jones). ‘Lovesong’ was reborn in 2004 when the band 311 covered the record, which became a #1 hit on the Modern Rock Tracks chart. Fast forward to 2009 and Jes Brieden (who was the vocalist for Motorcycle and featured on countless trance records) released her own remake of the class ‘Lovesong’ track. Now that you had a little background history on the song, give them a listen and let me know which one is your favorite!

Best Driving Track Ever?

So the DJtunez.net crew is about to take off on a 5-6 hour drive into the land of unknown this weekend. What better way to spend a long ride then listening to music? There is none. So this got me thinking, whats the best tune to listen to? I honestly did not have to think long or hard to come up with the winner… Motorcycle – As The Rush Comes. For some reason when the sun comes down and a highway is in front of me, my foot gets a little heavier then usual. I think the calmness of Jes’ voice and the amazing music surrounding her voice gets that adrenaline rushing. Enjoy!
