It’s easy to get excessive when talking about DJs, but with dance music veteran and trance hero Ferry Corsten, the facts speak for themselves.  The accolades and awards he has received for his productions, remixes, and DJ skills have resulted in Ferry being voted as one of the Top 10 DJs in the world by DJ Magazine for almost a decade. Since his immersion on the scene in the late ’90s, the Dutch musician has amassed best-selling albums and nearly a dozen gold singles.  He also maintains a worldwide tour schedule which, on any given weekend, brings him to all corners of the globe.

His albums, remixes, and singles reach iconic status almost immediately upon release as such iconic tracks as “Made of Love”, “Punk”, “Gouryella”, and “Out of the Blue” can prove. His anthemic 2001 System F album, Out of the Blue was recently re-released and digitally re-mastered featuring the complete track list and some hard to find remixes, along with Out of the Blue 2010, which features the legendary trance anthem remixed by some of today’s top artists including Tiesto, Laidback Luke, and Giuseppe Ottaviani, amongst a slew of others. Now with ‘One Upon A Night’ hitting our shores, Ferry shows no signs of slowing down in 2010.

Sorry, I cant think of any producer that can bring such energetic tracks on a consistent basis. Hands down one of our favorite producers at the time.

4- Faithless Ft. Cass Fox – Music Matters(Mark Knight Remix)

Faithless always brings out amazing/meaningful music, this is no different, and the Mark Knight remix is sex.

3- John O’Callaghan Ft. Sarah Howells – Find Yourself (Cosmic Gate Remix)

John O’Callaghan really put himself on the map with the release of “Big Sky” and hasn’t looked back since.

2- Oceanlab – On A Good Day (16 Bit Lolitas Downbeat Mix)
Probably the most beautiful track of 2009 so far.

Welcome back to another Top 5 Tunez extravaganza! This has been the most voted on to date, so thank you for the continued support! This weeks winner by is brought to you by Ashley Wallbridge & Andy Moor Ft. Meighan Nealon, and their new track “Faces”, which took in a monstrous 39% of the votes. The track brought in two musical genius’ and a lovely voice, so how can you go wrong? With 20% of the votes comes the Filo & Peri remix of Paul Van Dyk’s classic “For An Angel”, which was just re-released with many remixes, including a new on from Paul himself, Inpetto, Spencer & Hill and more, check it out HERE.

Steve Angello’s new track “Isabel” took in 16% of the votes. The deep house track is one of favorite house tracks right now, its very simple yet effective. Also with 16% of the votes is the Jansson Mix of “Losing My Religion” by Thomas Gold and Eddy Cabrera. I am no fan of R.E.M.’s original of “Losing My Religion”, but this remix was done very well, and could be great as just a Dub. Finally, Passanger 10’s “Mirage(EDX’s 5un5hine Remix)” took in 10% of the votes.
