Dubbed as the “Songbird of his Generation”, Canadian R&B singer/producer The Weeknd releases nothing short of absolutely breathtaking works of art. Omega has risen to the challenge of remixing “The Fall” off of The Weeknd’s third released mixtape “Echoes of Silence”, and the remix is just as awe-inspiring as the original, albiet in a completely different manner. Incredibly complex wobbles off-set the legendary R&B vocals, and Omega’s characteristically dark and ominous sound design serves as the perfect fit for The Weeknd’s already extremely melancholic musicality.

I’ve been meaning to share this track with you guys for a LONG time but, it kept slipping my mind. Why, you ask? First of all, because I am a huge Vybz fan and the track gives off a pop-ish dubstep/drum n bass vibe with dancehall/raggea vocals over it.  Below you have a download previewing the Album this track came from as well as a purchase link of this record.

Vybz Kartel was arrested months ago on some serious charges and while jailed a news story spread across the internet world like wild fire that would have made Vybz a kind of legend, the story was something straight out of an action movie, and at the end of the day, that’s all it was…A made up story but fun nonetheless and you can read about Vybez escaping jail HERE.
