When i decided to put Friction together, i wanted to approach it in an unconventional and unique way. The idea and mood of the set changed many times before it sounded like friction. The track selection is based on many of my past gigs, the best ones, and even the worst ones. The idea truly reveals itself throughout the middle of the set, where transitions go from deep dark minimal, then a blast to the surface with old school progressive. this mix was originally intended to be a draft of the final mix, but with good feedback and requests to leave as is, i will be releasing “FRICTION” exclusively to DJtunez.net and for you all to enjoy! many thanks to DJtunez.net for binging us all together. -JUSTIN M.
